Respect Our Community Of Users

CountrySymbols.com is intended to be a website where people can share symbols for different countries, view the symbols of other countries and cast their votes during the contest-period. While all users are encouraged to share comments and create blog-posts, please be respectful of others' viewpoints, opinions and symbols. Treat others like you would want them to treat you - whether you agree or disagree about something!

Inappropriate Symbols and Posts

If we become aware that someone has uploaded an inappropriate symbol or posted an inappropriate comment/ blog-post, we will review the item in question. If it violates our Terms of Use, we will remove it. The user who has uploaded the symbol or created the post will be warned that their content was not appropriate. Any user who adds inappropriate content to Countrysymbols.com a second time will have their account blocked.

We encourage users to report any content which has been uploaded or posted if they feel it is inappropriate. Simply use a REPORT button

Unacceptable Use of CountrySymbols.com

Every community-based website has do's and don'ts. Here are the don'ts for Countrysymbols.com:

- Countrysymbols.com does not allow sexually-explicit or pornographic content. If you're considering uploading a symbol which falls into either of these categories - don't! We will report any symbols which suggest child exploitation to the authorities;
- Use common sense when you're choosing a symbol - don't post any images showing abuse or any type of violent, offensive or humiliating behavior;
- Don't post any symbols which could be perceived as disgusting or gross;
- Countrysymbols.com will not allow any posts deemed to be hateful. This includes any symbol or text demeaning or attacking any person or persons based on their gender, race, religion, sexual-orientation, age or a disability;
- Countrysymbols.com has a no-tolerance policy for harassment, threats, online stalking, or the invasion of its users' privacy. This includes revealing personal information about other users without their permission. Anyone engaging in the above-mentioned activities may have their user-account blocked;
- Spam is not allowed on Countrysymbols.com. Any spam-content posted on the site will be deleted and the user generating it will receive their first warning-notice;
- Obey copyright laws. Do not upload symbols which are protected by copyright laws which you are not authorized to use;
- Do not upload national flags and emblems, they are the official symbols and are not intended to participate in the contest.

Please note that any user engaged in unacceptable use of the Countrysymbols.com website may receive a warning notification and subsequent violations will result in that user having their account blocked.

The CountrySymbols.com Community

- The purpose of this website is to create a community of users. Please feel free to become an active member and have fun with the content! - As the website continues to develop there will be a wealth of symbols from a wide-variety of countries. Browse around, learn about different countries and cultures, share your opinions (in a respectful manner!) and enjoy what Countrysymbols.com has to offer;
- Our world would be a much less interesting place if we were all of the same mind. You may discover you have a difference of opinion with another user and that's part of life. Please respect others' viewpoints, decide to "agree to disagree" and move on. Life's too short and there are too many other symbols to discover and posts to read on our website. However, should you find something offensive which you suspect violates our Terms of Use or is inappropriate, please report it using the REPORT button;
- We encourage freedom of speech and your right to express your opinions - even if you don't agree with someone else or others may not agree with you. As long as you are mindful of the Terms of Use and our "Don'ts" as outlined above, please get involved in the community by posting comments.
